Roseland center project info sessions

Chicago TREND is a social enterprise whose mission is to strengthen commercial corridors in majority-Black neighborhoods and increase opportunities for commercial real estate ownership. We now own five shopping centers and have 330+ investors. 58% of our investors are Black, 42% are women and 53% reside in low- and moderate-income neighborhoods. The average person invested $2,275. People say they invest with us because they want to earn a financial return and support positive community development. #WeOwnThis is the mantra that we share.

We launched a portal and are now intentionally inviting community investors to take an ownership stake in a shopping center that we have under contract to purchase in the Roseland neighborhood. The offering will close on May 10, 2024, and then we will buy the shopping center.
